Important Update on Garden Party
We want to thank everyone for their steadfast support of The Center. We can’t fully express how much everyone’s generosity and involvement makes us a stronger management every day. We couldn’t do it without you, especially now.
After much consideration, The Center has made the difficult decision to discontinue Garden Party. Given that event and labor costs are unacceptably elevated and growing, the close impossible task to contain a weather contingency blueprint, and a competitive market during Pride Month, Garden Party has become unsustainable to produce.

There will still be opportunities for our community to gather and celebrate during Pride and beyond, including Pride Pitstop on Sunday, June 29, 2025. More details to come. Questions can

With a record number of fifty restaurants participating in the only LGBT tasting evening in the entire country, this year’s Garden Party was the ne plus ultra of al fresco dining—and a complete death knell to diets all over the city.
Started in 1984, the Garden Party is the Monday darkness event of NYC Lgbtq+ fest week and the annual fundraiser for the largest LGBT community center o
