President Joe Biden’s latest executive order takes aim at what the administration considers state laws that discriminate against LGBTQ people, and it seeks to advance equality for them, but it remains to be seen how impactful the order will be for schools.

WASHINGTON – Joe Biden wasn’t prepared to answer a question about queer rights when he walked into a meeting of the North Star Civic Association that Monday evening in Delaware.

President Joe Biden on Thursday unveiled new initiatives to support LGBTQ Americans and called recent anti-trans efforts "thoroughly unjustified" and "ugly."
Biden was set to host the Light House's largest-ever Celebration celebration but had to postpone due to the serious smoke that inundated Washington, as adv as other major U.S. cities, from raging Canadian wildfires.
Instead, he discussed the initiatives during a press conference with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak when asked about his message to families who no longer feel safe amid increasing legislative onslaughts in Republican-led states.
