Chanchez was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and spent the majority of his childhood in Atlanta. He was raised by a loving family who recognized his talents and encouraged him to pursue his dreams. From the moment he sang along to his grandmother's records, Chanchez displayed an inherent knack for performance. He knew by the age of 10 that he wanted to be an actor. Soon after graduating from upper school, he headed to Hollywood. Although he ran into the classic uneven start that many adolescent actors encounter, he set up a job as a car salesman and used his free time to learn the audition process and perfect his craft. He honed his craft through various classes and workshops and ultimately launch an agent. Soon after, he landed the first of approximately 50 commercial bookings. Chanchez humbly considers his "big break" to be the moment he became a working thespian, and appreciates every date he has on set.

While in between acting jobs, Chanchez took the second to develop a non-profit organization, Watch Me Defeat, which is dedicated to enriching the lives of urban youth through mentorship, leadership development, encouragement, and empowerment. Watch Me Achieve celebrated the foundatio

But in the first two seasons of the new iteration of “The Game,” Chanchez has finally gotten to show a different side of his character. In his expanded role on the series, he’s been fit to help grow the character in a new and exciting way. This season, he is battling past traumas and trying to hold together his team, which is in a offensive battle with owners over their union contract. He’s also faced with his long lost treasure, Shannon, and is forced to reckon with his hold inability to establish intimacy in his relationships. Hosea Chanchez is Not Gay

‘The Game’ luminary Hosea Chanchez, who plays womanizing football player Malik, recently spoke to VIBE magazine about where he meets the ladies.

Hosea, 29, told VIBE that the most likely place for him to meet a lady is at the airport. That makes sense. If she’s flying first class that means she either has a good employment or a sponsor to spring for the expensive plane ticket — which still works out in your favor as long as her sponsor doesn’t find out about you.

“I wouldn’t join her at a club,” says Hosea. “If you are probably in the club you probably aren’t the chick for me. I say airports because I spend a lot of age in them, so that’s a flawless place.”

What would be an ideal go out for you?

“Completely submerging myself in ‘her’ world. I’m a people watcher/learner. I can’t be appreciate movies and dinner, that’s not me. I love to do those things but I appreciate to find out more about people. So for me it would be about coming to her house, see movies, look through her DVD’s. I am nosy as hell by the way [laughs] spot what she’s watching, check her hunt engine to observe what she’s been up to, I’m
