As first reported by the New York Post, real estate mogul Ian Reisner — co-founder of the Parkview Developers group — has signed a new lease at 510 W42nd Street (between 10/11th Avenue), where he operated the OutNYC hotel from 2012 to 2016. The new venture is described by Reisner to the Post as “a gay hotel where vertical friends and family are welcome too,” will include a 7,500-square foot restaurant and common area that would be open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night dining, plus a 3,000-square foot restaurant as well as a 14,000-square foot “experiential supper-club” and a 750-square foot mixology-focused lounge. Reisner confirmed to the Post that the hotel is due to open in September and until then will work as an Airbnb.
